American Meteor Society
The AMS received over a lot of reports of a bright fiery object traveling over Oregon on Thursday, 25 March 2021 around 9pm PDT. It was the remaining of a Falcon 9 second stage from the “Starlink Launch 4” mission launched in February 2020.

I saw this tonight at 9:00 in Yakima- so amazing – didn’t know what it was but seemed to big for meteor shower. Several huge bright white fireball/shooting star-like lights with trailing light traveled across the entire sky then faded out.
I was in olympia washington, in the meadows it seemed to be right above my head then went into the clouds and disapeared. Right after flying over my cell phone would not call out or in.
So is this what hit us in ks last night between 9 and 10 made the houses shake for at least 150 miles? It was a pretty big shake for quite a large area. Could it really have been this?
This sighting was not visible from Kansas so whatever happened last night between 9-10 in Kansas had nothing to do with rocket debris.
I seen this in Kansas around 8 pm.

As I said above, this sighting was not visible from Kansas so you probably saw the fireball that shot over that area.
I’m from Oklahoma and can confirm that there was a massive ball of fire that fell out of the sky at around 8 from the north. I couldn’t see it though.
My porch was covered with debris looked like black sand today March 27, 2021. Could that mean we had a meteor shower last night?

Meteor showers, fireballs, and re-entering satellites do not leave any sandy residue on the ground. My guess is that this sand had a more terrestrial source.
Could black “sand” that Howaida observed be meteoric and related to the fireball?
Maybe he should at least collect some and send it to you?

Fireballs don’t leave a coating of sand over areas they pass over. I’m certain this black sand had a more localized source.
