I was walking down the middle of Rockfield Court, heading NE to Belgreen Drive. The meteor appeared directly in front of my direction heading NE (over the rooftop of a house) and I believe that this meteor was a fireball due to the unusual brightness and size. I spotted the flare (larger than usual) starting from the right side of the big dipper's pot in Ursa Major, and it streamed straight downward but disappeared before it reached the end of the big dipper's handle and that was it! No sound was heard.
