The early evening started out at 20:30 with a dozen meteors traveling through the Ophiuchus, Sagittarius & Scorpius region for the next hour or so. Several reaching -2 magnitude and one -3 with long trail extending 10 degrees. 2 of these were 2d magnitude, bright emerald green with up to 20 degree long trails. 4 were yellowish in color, the brightest that were observed. Another 6 sporadics between 1st and 4th magnitudes were observed intermittently in the west & north until 22:30. 3, 2d & 3d magnitude Alpha Capricornids were observed until from 21:30 to 23:15 along with 2 -2d magnitude Perseids from 22:45 to 23:20.
