The American Meteor SocietyÂ has received reports of a blue-green fireball that occurred over the Mid-Western States just before 9pm CDT on Thursday June 2nd.Â Reports range from as far east as Pennsylvania, west to Missouri, north to Illinois and Indiana, and south to Kentucky. Most reports indicate the peak brightness equaled the light produced by the full moon. Summaries of these reports can be viewed on the 2011 AMS Fireball Table located at inflatable waterslides:
