I'm just an old lady who loves the night sky and enjoy photographing what she sees.
I used to be a senior high teacher (English, Drama, History - even Earth Science for one challenging year) but I'm long retired.
I'm now an assistant to Tim Doucette, astronomer at Deep Sky Eye Observatory here in Nova Scotia. Tim's my mentor as well as a good friend. I'm a crazy cat lady because I've TNR'd a bunch of cats from a local colony, then couldn't quite managed the "R" (Release) part. So my cats and I inhabit a quirky old former cottage here in Yarmouth County, beside a river, with decent skies if you aim away from light pollution. I submitted a fireball video last year but it doesn't seem to be associated with my account. I also uploaded several photos of various objects. So I must have another account here. I ought to look for it!
