I am an avid amateur who has been observiing, like many others, from a very young age. I was passionately interested in astronomy at a young age and still have the Celestron 8 that my parents purchased for me in 1972! I have always had a passing interest in meteors but the advent of All Sky cameras have really pushed up that interest. I was fortunate enough to be selected as a site for one of the NMSU Sky Sentinel cameras. That is now operating at our dark sky sit in Franklin. I am currently very interested in video imaging of meteors and hope to continue to improve my detection system.
