Observer
Name Ross B
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks Did not see fireball itself, witnessed a small "stoney shower" event. Initially thought it was a bottle rocket, but realized sparks then explosion were in-coming. Event was less than 500 ft. from where I was. sitting on my enclosed porch. I heard about actual fireball on the following day's newscast. Witnessed a double fireball in the sky as a boy in 1968 and heard the crackling of the "radio waves." Been looking towards the heavens ever since.
