| Remarks | The color was a vibrant orange red that reminds me of a setting sun about halfway or more past horizon. Color also reminds me of hazard cones or when you hold the iPhone light against your closed eye, but it had a glow/vibrancy that's much more similar to a setting sun. It started out like the deep orange red sunset, quickly brightened up to a light orange/yellow (not in a sudden explosion way, as far as I could tell) that appeared similar to how a candle or lighter flame may appear, then train faded back into the sunset color before eventually trailing off and disappearing after the head. I am not confident in if the head also faded as slowly as the train. Lasted long enough for me to slightly move my head down as I followed it and to not doubt or question what I saw, but since it happened so fast, I can't confidently say if it exploded or just appeared to grow in size for a brief period of time or how the head looked before it disappeared. I want to say it stayed the same size as the light faded or maybe thinned out very slightly as it faded away. Did not seem to curve, make turns, change trajectory. . Appeared to have kept a straight line. Size of the body looked like it was slightly bigger than Jupiter (It started right next to Jupiter). Unfortunately the only thing I vividly remember is how vibrant the color was and that it was very different from the meteors I've seen, even though it was years ago. Whatever it was, it was pretty cool. |

| Remarks | Train was slightly thinner than the head of the body, but thicker than the meteors I've seen during meteor showers. Head, followed by train, got brighter and/or appeared to grow in size just before halfway point. Light of both body and train did not suddenly disappear. They faded away head first. It appeared to have a glow to it with how vibrantly red/orange it was. Train followed same path as head before fading. The way it faded kind of reminds me of what headlights look like right after you turn them off. There's still a bit of an afterglow before fully turning off and powering down. Train appeared to maintained a solid line, no breaking off or fragments, so it's hard to say if anything else happened before it disappeared. No smoke. No change in environment, sound or vibrations, after sighting. |
