The object first glowed green. Looked like an airplane coming in for a landing with the landings lights on, but they were green lights and going too fast to be a plane. Then it started to splinter with smaller green glowing pieces trailing behind it. It was really low and the green glow and fragments stopped and we could still see the main part of it still heading east.
