The colour was a cold pure white like burning magnesium.

It shot down, seemed to get brighter then broke up. The parts went perpendicular to the line of direction a little then curved into the same direction as it had been going travelling in parallel then disappeared behind the houses. I was sitting at a table and I took a photo a few minutes later of where I saw it. I have since drawn on the image to show what I saw. I also looked at Google Earth to try and work out the direction it passed.
