I was on a raised perspective when it happened and it looked as though it was about 40-50m up in the air and very close by and detailed as opposed to being on the horizon or in the sky. I’m judging it was around this height as I regularly fly a drone which tells me it’s height.

Very similar to the burning up from the underside of a firework when you set it off, but heading towards the earth instead of away from it.
