Event lasted 3-5 seconds. Sky was clear. I tried to determine what direction the streak travelled using Google Maps immediately afterwards and it seems to have travelled directly South. 100% certain this was an air burst. Hope this information is of some use!

Terminal flash
Observation
Yes
Remarks
It began as a point of light that grew and size and brightness (within 1-2 seconds) then it quickly grew bright enough to illuminate the sky around it before it exploded. I would compare its behaviour to the Chelyabinsk meteor on a much smaller scale.
Fragmentation
Observation
Yes
Remarks
It was very brief but I believe I saw some fragmentation immediately after the explosion.
