I was driving eastbound on the motorway and happened to look to my left (to the NE) and saw a clear ball with tail streak across the sky for about a second. Yellow/orange colour at the leading edge and whiter at the tail. It disappeared behind the horizon (I was in a slight cutting of the motorway at the time.
