It was definitely green and seemed to shimmer or buffer as it moved. It was also relatively slow moving in that I was able to point it out to my family as we drove and everyone had time to find it and observe it. I’m guessing it was about 5 seconds.

We saw a little loss of material at the front of the object as it moved from north to south across the front of our car, which was facing west. After that loss the entire object disappeared as if a switch was flipped. We did not see it fall or any tail.
