Observer
Name Kevin R
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks It was still fairly light out and we were looking at Venus when we saw what looked like another star as bright as Venus appear. As it approached us, we could see the orange tail coming off of it. When it was almost overhead, a piece of it fragmented, exploding in a shower of bright sparks. At first, we thought that it was a fireworks rocket until we realized that it traveled from one horizon to the other.
