Remarks My timing may be off, as I paid no attention to the time when I saw this. The sun had gone down but it was still very light out, the horizon was purple and orange but the sky was still blue. Decatur, IL is approximately 45 minutes from our home in Springfield, and we left the Pride of the Prairie rest stop at approximately 8:10pm and arrived home just before 9:00pm.

Remarks Green light ball got brighter as it seemed to move to the slight southeast, flashing brightly with almost a bluish and whitish tinge before breaking into two distinct bright green pieces, and then it all disappeared.
