| Remarks | Although I have no concept of how far away the object was, it appeared to be fairly large and seemed to have a smoky trail behind it, although the trail did not linger. I only saw it for a second or so then lost it as it went down below the tree line. I really had no idea what I had seen, whether it was some type of flare, fireworks, a meteorite, satellite...but it was definitely nothing one normally observes and it gave me uneasy pause. |
