Remarks I am a member of the Chesmont Astronomical Society and a frequent observer of the night time skies. I have participated in Leonid metor counts, Never saw a bight metor/bolide such as this during the day, though.

Remarks No sound heard but car radio was on and there were outside sounds of traffic, as well.

Remarks At first, it was a bright, white streak, faded a bit at around 35 degrees above the horizon but got much brighter below 30 degrees and had a thin, yellow, flame looking tail before it disappeared at around 20 dgrees above the horizon.

Remarks The flash before it disappeared was more like an increasing of intensity of light because it got very bright and had a flame looking yeloow-white tail.
