| Remarks | It was only the second meteor I've ever seen in my 47 years. I've seen shooting stars at night traveling through upstate New York, but this was nothing like a shooting star. Both meteor's I've seen glowed a bright green, almost a bright greenish white. This sighting lasted the longest. It was the coolest thing I've seen in years, and I'll never forget it! |

| Remarks | The meteor was traveling quickly, heading NW from the SE at about 2000-3000 feet. It glowed a bright green, almost a greenish white. Had a small train behind it that looked like steam, or smoke. White in color. It soon broke up into 5 or 6 smaller pieces I could clearly see. The pieces looked like rock, or stone, and quickly turned into small individual clouds of smoke, then disappeared. It made no sound that I could hear, but I had my windows up. The whole thing just disappeared into vapor. Didn't see anything actually fall towards the ground. It just burned up completely. The whole episode lasted approximately 15 seconds. |
