| Remarks | I believe it is important to note that I was driving at the time of this sighting, and the bright, super-fast moving light caught my peripheral vision. The incredible speed of this object, as well as its unusual, pale green color is what caused me to go online to see if a fireball was reported for this time, for no airplane could travel that fast!. Being in a closed vehicle, I would not have heard a moderate to low sound, if there was a sound. The light seemed to be traveling from a higher point to a lower point, but the curvature of the earth may account for that illusion. Also, I would comment that it seemed to be approximately traveling from the west or southwest to the east or northeast. The light seemed to disappear before it got to the horizon. |
