I stepped outside, looking at the stars, was looking at the spot where it appeared and saw the whole thing. Was expecting to hear a noise but there was none. Most spectacular meteor I have ever seen.

Extremely bright meteor that produced a large white ball when it fragmented into 2-3 pieces which continued downward. There appeared to be some reddish color also
