Remarks | It was quite spectacular, I have been watching the skies for over 20 years as an amateur astronomer. and I have never seen anything like this in my life. I was just fortunate to be outside at the right time. I stood outside in silence to listen for a bang for about 10 minutes...sadly I heard nothing |

Terminal flash | |

Observation | Yes |
Remarks | Lots of orange sparkling debris coming from the tail, fairly steady brightness, then a large flash and completely vanished. It lit up the sky and the surrounding sparse cumulus clouds in a simikar effect that the full moon would give, just not quite as bright, but pretty close |
