Reports Report 3524jj (Event 3524-2016)

Observer
Name Jason B
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks An odd thing was that it appeared that the glowing item was in an odd shape, It seemed as if it had a flat face to it, not rounded as I thought it might be. The best way I can describe it would be if you lit A brick on fire and threw it and it remained at a constant angle of 70 degrees. It seemed that the object was odd shaped .

Remarks was driving north on Rt. 7 and I noticed A bright flash and I looked up to my right and noticed a large fireball. It was an intense blue and glowing white and only about 300 feet above me to the right. It was very low and I watched it travel ahead of me falling quickly, I could hardly believe it was so low and it traveled ahead of me above route 7 and I thought, I thought to myself, it's going to hit the Rutland fairgrounds. At this point, it was only about 150 feet up and it fragmented into about 20 small fragments and disappeared.
