Reports Report 3464b (Event 3464-2016)

Observer
Name Travis J
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks This seemed to be moving exceptionally slow for a meteor. It also appeared to be rather large. The shape was abnormal as if it were not spherical, and it appeared to be tumbling. I didn't look at the time when I saw the meteor, so the time of occurrence is only a rough estimate. I did report within 30 minutes or so.

Remarks About 3 seconds after I first saw it come over the roof line of the building, the fireball fragmented. About three smaller pieces broke away and seemed to slow down, moving off on slightly different trajectories. The larger piece continued on for a few more seconds until the light disappeared. I didn't notice a terminal flash.
