| Remarks | I saw this fire ball from my backyard in Cut Bank, MT. I watched it travel from south to north. I was facing south when it appeared above the trees and houses. I didn't see the initiation. I with it as it crossed the whole sky and watched it travel for what i estimate would have been about 4-5 seconds before it disappeared over the roof of the house. It did not lose any debris or color in the time that I watched it. I also am not sure if the event was at ~830 or 930 but that estimate that it was during this time frame. I know some constellations and the ISS, etc. I live in a remote place where skywatching is great. Other than what I have self taught, I have no knowledge of astronomy. This was a REALLY neat event. I will never forget it! |
