Remarks |
I was in the city walking to my car in a lighted parking lot when the meteor caught my eye. I'm pretty certain that I did not see its beginning. I called a family member immediately afterwards and based on the time stamp of that call I am certain within about one minute of its time. It was a lovely green color, but diminished in intensity as it approached the SSE horizon. I called my son who was a couple miles from me driving eastward and he also saw it. I will try to have him give a report.
p.s. Our school has a video surveillance system and it did show the meteor going down toward the horizon at a compass bearing of about 120° (Reviewing the data I entered, I realized that on one question I had misinterpreted one of the first graphics showing trajectory. The meteor went from up to down and a little bit to the left.) |
