Remarks I heard on the news that officials think it landed near Poteau Mountain, OK. I was looking at the fireball with my back to Oklahoma and I watched it disappear behind trees about 100 yards away in the East South East sky. I am a Private Security Guard and I was sitting in my chair in the guard house at my post. I can actually tell you what tree it disappeared behind and what angle it was traveling exactly. There are several power poles around my post and the meteor streaked through the sky between two of them. The fireball happened to light up that whole section of the sky including what I think was a smoke trail where the glittery train faded. It happened so fast I can't really be for sure. It was like something out of a movie. I'm also a Arkansas Trained Storm Spotter for the National Weather Service.
