Remarks I thought it might be burning debris from somewhere in the sky. Never seen anything like it and I am in my mid 50's. It went from south to north and I could see flames and hear a sound like flames in a fire pit. As it moved to the north, it appeared to go lower and turned from a orange color to a smaller red ember like color. It dropped below trees along the Willamette river, so I couldn't see it any more. I was concerned it might start a fire. I pondered what I had seen for a few minutes, then checked the time, which was 12:02 by then. I thought it was over the Willamette river near Corvallis.
