| Remarks | It looked as if it impacted on the surface. It seemed too big to not have hit something. I hope my information helps. I was standing outside my home facing west. I saw it enter south, traveling north or north west. It was very bright and vivid, silent, and heard no impact. It looked as if people in West Salem, or Keizer may have seen it touch down, if it did end up touching down. It was magnificent and I feel lucky. My father is part of night sky 45, a local astronomy group in Salem Oregon. |
