| Remarks | The train appeared from the first point I observed, was white/yellow-white in color--the train continued, thickened, and turned green, then got smaller (back to white-yellow) and seemed to disappear as the object went out of view over the hill. I've never seen space debris before, but have heard reports of Chinese satellite debris sightings in this area within the last month or so. Have never seen a fireball last more than a second… but I've only seen 1 or 2 in my lifetime, so I'm not sure if what I observed was a fireball or space debris. But it was impressive--very bright, thick and long train--and seemed very close (though I assume much farther than it seemed). |
