Reports Report 3216cn (Event 3216-2016)

Observer

Experience Level 4/5
Remarks The size of the meteor was impressive. It was either very large or very close (compared to most) because you could actually see the burning mass of the meteor itself. I've also never seen one like this that lasted so long. I'm ashamed to say I could've filmed it with my phone if I hadn't been so stunned by this incredible spectacle. I saw one a few weeks ago that was incredibly bright and it exploded ,but it only lasted a second or two. This seemed to last forever, until it dissappeared behind the treeline. I think it might have went down in the Pacific. I'm 50 miles from it. Definitely my best sighting ever in a long lifetime of watching.
