Name | Kevin M |
Experience Level | 2/5 |
Remarks | Although your system classed this observation as "night", it was only 21;22 pm (local UK time BST), and so it wasn't true night, more of a late dusk, and so my brightness estimate could actually be a bit on the low side, as it would have seemed brighter, had the sky been darker... |

Fragmentation | |

Observation | Yes |
Remarks | There was no terminal explosion as such, but the fireball head got brighter and brighter as it streaked across the sky, until at maximum brightness, the bright green head broke into about 5 smaller pieces, which continued in the same direction as previous, and at the same velocity, and these smaller pieces (which didn't appear to be green any longer) faded over the course of about 1.5-2 seconds...The whole event lasted about 6 seconds from beginning of the event to the fragments fading to nothing... |
