Remarks I've never seen a fireball before! I had just driven into the parking lot of the Tustin Ranch Golf Club in Tustin, CA when a ball of fire with a long greenish tail soared over my car from behind me in an obvious downward trajectory. From my perspective looking through the windshield of my car it appeared to streak across the sky at the level of a plane or helicopter. I'm probably wrong about that, but it seemed really low in the sky! I saw it for only 2 or 3 seconds before it disappeared from view behind the clubhouse buildings. It seemed so low that I wondered if it had crashed on the golf course! I'm sure it probably just appeared that way to me though, since there was no sound or any other evidence of impact. It was an amazing sight!
