Remarks I was certain this was not a meteorite until I saw a local news report of it. It feel slowly, was over a beach area, and my overall sense was that it was a bottle rocket or some similar firework. It was also very bright, and green. I have never seen any meteorite that looked quite like that.

Remarks I saw one fragment separate from it just before it faded from view. The fragment appeared yellow or white, in contrast with the bright greenness of the meteor.
