Remarks | I took astronomy at UVM & am getting my MS in Biotechnology at JHU. I have seen meteor showers many times, but this is a first. This was one GIANT fireball -I was traveling in my car on the freeway, the I-5s just before exit 78 (Avenida Pico) in San Clemente - the fireball was mid-level and started in the middle, slightly to the right and then disappeared into the horizon on the right. It was large, had a blazing tail, and it was very quick (only a few sec.). Pair that with the blood moon. What does that mean? Did anyone else see this thing? |
