Remarks It was the first time I have ever seen anything like it. I have seen shooting stars in the past and thought this was just a very bright/close shooting star until the flashes and the smoke that followed. I was in my back yard looking west.

Remarks Only saw smoke for a few seconds after the flash. The smoke trail looked curly and started in the sky and went towards the ground.

Remarks The shooting star started off as a bright white/yellow light then become really bright and then flashed into a blue light then flashed a second time into a green light then disappeared.
