I have seen 3 other meteorites fall since moving to the Catskills in NY, all with green fire/flash associated but none like this; it was quite extraordinary and I really expected to hear a large boom!

It first appeared as an extremely white ball (like landing lights on a close incoming aircraft) at the top left (NW) of the window that I was looking out... proceeded from the inital corner of window at about a 45degree angle into the bottom window and dropped below the horizon (NE.)
