Remarks Saw what looked like a big firework at first, out west over the colorado monument. It was fragmented but moving west to northeast, approximately 7-10 fragments of different size burning bright orange, red, yellow. Like fire in the sky. Continued to travel northeast for about 12-20 seconds or so,possibly longer but not much. Faded or burned up over the book cliffs northeast of grand junction colorado about 10:40pm 7/27/2016. No noise,no boom. Just fireballs !moving across the sky. Looked like the smaller pieces were at times moving faster than the large pieces(briefly thought they might be individual craft flying at different speeds) but they had tails(short, orange) and began to fade as they moved further northeast until they burned up or faded to black disappearing from view over the desert/book cliffs northeast of junction. Meteor or satellite? Most amazing thing I have ever witnessed in the night sky over colorado! Of course no phone to record it! Very curious as to what it was!?
