Remarks | The object was small, perhaps five to ten feet, and like a misshapen ball. It fell at a rate much faster and steeper than a plane's descent. I, along with two other cars next to me on the highway, slowed down considerably to watch and wait for an explosion as the object was so close to the treeline when it left our line of sight. One car swerved across three lanes to get off at the next exit. I opened the windows and stared toward the trees expecting to hear or see something, but nothing occurred. |
