Remarks | The relative slow speed caught my attention. I could not see the last moments as it disappeared behind some clouds. It seemed to break up into fragments along its path. I saw it from inside a car. I thought about the possibility of hearing a boom, but I did not. The windows were closed. The reddish tint also got my attention. I've seen a fireball before in the 1960's, but it was much lighter in color, probably on the whitish side. The lights from the airport probably dimmed the overall brightness to my eyes, but not sure. It traveled across the scorpion constellation. Too bad I did not notice which star it started from and ended to. |
