Remarks | This was shortly after I had left the Corner Tavern and Grill in Cary. There were upwards of 20 emergency vehicles responding to a "plane crash". I heard no indication of a crash or touchdown from any debris but would have heard it since I was outside during the hours of 7-9:30pm and within a .5 mile of where the crash was reported. Roughly 15 minutes later, I departed the bar and traveled down E Chatham street where I observed the fireball, very clearly I might add, right before I reached the intersection of Maynard and E Chatham going towards Raleigh. |
