Remarks I didn't know at first Why my Entire Backyard had lit up with light at approx. 4:00 am (for about 1 second- with initially no Sound) but approx. 1 minute later I heard what I thought was Thunder from the North and then both my dogs alerted me of Danger by sticking their tails straight up-that's when we retreated into the house. When the sun started to rise that's when I notice the designs in the East sky. I hadn't heard yet of any reports of a meteor shower (since I didn't turn the news on) when my husband and I admired the patterns in the East sky I wasn't sure of what it was. The shape began to appear to me to look like the planet Saturn. It wasn't until two hours later that my husband sent me a text that there were reports of a meteor shower. That's when we realized we had been admiring the vapor trails. When my back yard lit up with light - I froze in fear. Then as quickly as it appeared the light was gone.
