Reports Report 2021a (Event 2021-2016)

Observer
Name Jones C
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks Not sure of the exact time of this sighting but we were walking around the track at Americus Sumter High School and walked from about 4:45 AM - 5:30AM. I did not have my phone or a watch right when I saw it to confirm time but would guess between 5-5:20AM. It was still rather dark & stars were still in the sky. When I first saw it, I had no idea what it was but I looked up and saw it directly as it shot across the sky for just a few seconds. I described it to my family as a bright streak that shot across the sky with a tail. It was AWESOME to see! Hope my report is accurate. I know where I was when I saw it and what I saw, but I am not good with angles or measurements so those could be off.
