Remarks I didn't see the streak that everybody else saw. My wife and I saw the actual fireball. Fell from a NW to NE direction. The relative size of the fireball was comparable to a full moon. We saw the fireball from the sunbeam rest area along interstate-8 going east. The fireball went out just over some farmland/residential area just west of el centro, ca. It was silent and had a gradient fill from red to orange to mostly green/blue color. The fireball was visible for approx. 2-3 seconds.
