Remarks the videos I have seen seem to be from a forshortened perspective. I feel like I saw it very drawn out from S to N across the western sky. It was a thrilling event that I feel privileged to have seen.

Remarks a flash like lightening made me look out the west window. I saw a wide smear of bright light going from S to N and then a round ball flashing like an explosion, then a continuation of the smear of light. No sound.
