Remarks | I saw this while we were ruck marching to a land navigation site during a FTX for all ROTC battalions in Missouri at Fort Leonard Wood. I saw it and mentioned to my battle buddy "that was one hell of shooting star," but he insisted it must have been a flare due to how bright purple/greenish it was. I believed him because I had never seen anything like it. After seeing the other reports, I have no doubt this was the same thing. I am not 100% certain where in Fort Leonard Wood we were at the time (or which direction we were facing) because that was my first time there, so take my supplied information with a grain of salt. |
