It looked like an upside down exclamation point. the period was white, it disappeared and then resumed again but as a green ball of light that left a white glowing train.

The ball of light was green and it looked like it was dropping out of the sky. Then it left a white flowing train that lasted for about a second after the green ball disappeared.
