Remarks | I just happened to step outside on my front porch tonight a few minutes before 10pm (Pacific Time here in Reno, NV), and within a few minutes I saw this "fireball." Quite shocking, as it seemed so close to Earth. Only a few stars visible tonight. The actual "fireball" seemed quite large - to me. |

Remarks | trail or train seemed a consistent glow as it streaked across the sky in a semi-curve, and when the "fireball" disappeared (before/above the horizon or nearby mountains) the glow lasted maybe 1 second. Not sure. |
