| Remarks | I was driving in my car when I saw it appear at the top of my front windshield. It was bright yellow with an orange end. Almost looked like a bright ball that was leaving orange sparks behind. I at first thought it was fragmenting and that was why it was bright orange at the end. The tail was also long. I saw the Leonid meteor shower when I was in Seoul, and the tail was long like those but not the same color. Leonid's seemed light yellow, this one was much more pronounced and dark. It lasted only a couple of seconds before trees obscured it while I was driving. It was super fast. If I hadn't been paying attention to the stop light, I would not have noticed it. I was worried as to whether it hit planes flying above the Corona, CA area. |
