Remarks | I would've chosen a 3 for myself in the rating system, but since I've never seen a meteor shower I chose a 2 instead. I started studying the night sky and learning the constellations about 5 years ago. I live in a suburban area so there are street lights and other lights that make it difficult sometimes. The object I saw reminded me of a Roman candle or some other type of firework, but I was outside for several minutes that night and never heard any fireworks, nor saw any other objects that could be considered fireworks. Plus, I only witnessed the object descending, not ascending, like you see with a Roman candle. I was standing on my front steps as my friends were leaving, and I was the only one out of 4 people who was facing west at the right time. |
